SPECIAL COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE MEETING

Please be advised the Council of the District of 100 Mile House will be having a Special Commitee of the Whole Meeting on Tuesday September 14th, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. to:

• Host a delegation from West Fraser Mills Ltd, 100 Mile Lumber Division Representatives from West Fraser will address Council to discuss the impending effects on the timber supply by the mountain pine beetle infestation and some possible actions that would mitigate these effects in order to support community stability.

Committee of the Whole Meetings are open to the public. The meeting will be held in the District of 100 Mile House Council Chambers located at 385 Birch Avenue (Fourth Street entrance)

CAMPFIRE BAN LIFTED AS OF AUGUSUT 31, 2010

Effective 12:00 pm Monday August 30, campfire restrictions within the District of 100 Mile House have been lifted. Please remember that you still require a permit within the District of 100 Mile House for campfires. Permits are available at the 100 Mile House Fire Hall. Campfires are restricted in size 0.5m x 0.5m. If you have any questions or concerns please contact 100 Mile House Fire-Rescue 250-395-2152.

WATER RESTRICTION NOTICE

The District of 100 Mile House is putting normal water restrictions into effect from April 19, 2010 to September 30, 2010. Residents must adhere to the following water restrictions effective April 19, 2010.

EVEN numbered premises can only water or sprinkle on
EVEN numbered days of the month from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM ONLY.

ODD numbered premises can only water or sprinkle on
ODD numbered days of the month from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM ONLY.

The fine for watering outside of permittd days and times is $50.00 and each occurence is deemed to be a seperate offence.
